Jane Hilberry’s collection of poems titled Body Painting (Red Hen Press 2005) won the Colorado Book Award for Poetry. Her most recent book is a joint venture with her father, Conrad Hilberry, a book called This Awkward Art: Poems by a Father and Daughter, with an Introduction by Richard Wilbur (Mayapple Press 2009). Her poems have appeared in The Women’s Review of Books, Virginia Quarterly Review, Denver Quarterly, Hudson Review, and other magazines. She has also written a book of art criticism/biography titled The Erotic Art of Edgar Britton (Ocean View Books, 2001). Hilberry teaches at Colorado College and facilitates arts-based leadership courses at The Banff Centre in Canada.
