Rick Noguchi

Rick Noguchi received a master of fine arts degree in creative writing from Arizona State University. He is the author of two collections of poetry The Wave He Caught (Pearl Editions, 1995) and The Ocean Inside Kenji Takezo (University of Pittsburgh Press, 1996), an Associated Writing Programs Award winner. He also co-authored a children’s book, Flowers from Mariko, with his wife Deneen. His work has been included in several anthologies including Asian American Poetry: The Next Generation; Place as Purpose: Poetry from the Western States; Motion: American Sports Poems; American Poetry: The Next Generation; and The New Young American Poets.
