Frank X Walker

Frank X Walker is a founding member of the Affrilachian Poets, a Cave Canem fellow, and a recipient of a 2005 Lannan Literary Fellowship. He is the author of seven collections of poetry including About Flight (Accents Publishing, 2015); Turn Me Loose: The Unghosting of Medgar Evers (University of Georgia Press, 2013), winner of the 2014 NAACP Image Award for poetry; and I Dedicate This Ride: The Making of Isaac Murphy (Old Cove Press, 2010). He is Associate Professor of English at the University of Kentucky.
