Moving the Fishouse

In November 2003, Matt O’Donnell and friends relocated the fishouse from Orr’s Island, Maine, some 50 miles north to O’Donnell’s home. The endeavor required engineering know-how and just the right equipment. Unfortunately, the group had neither so, they relied on a bit of Yankee ingenuity and an ocean of coffee. It was a minor miracle that they only broke a hand winch and one small pane of glass. At the end of a long day, they crowded inside the fishouse in its new spot and raised bottles in toast to Lawrence Sargent Hall.
