Sean Singer’s latest collection, Honey and Smoke, was published by Eyewear Publishing in 2015. His first book, Discography, won the 2001 Yale Series of Younger Poets Prize (selected by W.S. Merwin) and the Norma Farber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America. He is the author of two chapbooks, Passport (2007) and Keep Right On Playing Through the Mirror Over the Water (2010), both with Beard of Bees Press. His work has earned him a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and has recently appeared in Memorious, Pleiades, Souwester, Iowa Review, New England Review, and Salmagundi. He lives in New York City, where he drives a taxi.
