Chloe Honum is the author of The Tulip-Flame (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2014), which was selected by Tracy K. Smith for the 2013 Cleveland State University Poetry Center First Book Prize. The Tulip-Flame won Foreword Review’s Poetry Book of the Year Award and the Texas Institute of Letters Best First Book of Poetry Award, and was named a finalist for the 2015 PEN Center USA Literary Award in Poetry. Honum’s work has appeared in The Paris Review, Poetry, The Volta, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a Ruth Lilly Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation and a Pushcart Prize. Her chapbook, Then Winter, is forthcoming from Bull City Press in 2017. She was raised in Auckland, New Zealand.
